If you are registering for the perinatal wellness professional certification
PWP Training Policies
I agree to the following PWP policies:
1. I may not reproduce, publish, or distribute any materials in the training manual.
2. I may not reproduce, publish, or distribute any materials from the online course (e.g. forms, etc.)
3. Pictures taken during Zoom check-ins or training practicum that include other participants may only be shared with their express permission. Shared pictures may not contain Natural Abundance copyrighted materials such as powerpoint slides or pages from the manual.
4. Nursing babies-in-arms are welcomed at the training practicum as long as they are not a distraction to the parent or to other students. It is recommended to have a back-up person available to assist with baby when needed.
5. Natural Abundance and Laura Speece do not assume liability for adverse reactions to any of the plants or products students may use or consume during the herbal medicine-making portion of the practicum.
13. I understand that using the PWP title is reserved for those who have completed all certification requirements. I also understand that using the PWP letters as a part of my title prior to officially earning my certification from Natural Abundance will result in being disqualified from being certified.
14. I understand that I will receive an email confirmation within moments of submitting this registration. If I do not receive that confirmation, I will contact Natural Abundance at info@naturalabundance.me to ensure that registration was received.
15. If registering via NA’s payment plan: I understand that I am entering an agreement to complete 9 monthly payments in order to fulfill my tuition requirements. I understand that it is my responsibility to ensure that sufficient funds are in my bank account at the time of withdrawal and that if those withdrawals are not able to be made for any reason, it will be considered a default on my payment plan and the total amount will be due at that time.
16. I understand that all tuition costs must be paid in full in order to graduate and receive my certificate.
Refund Policy
Since students have access to all proprietary materials immediately upon registration, including the training manual, required reading list, study guides, case studies, forms, tests, and other written assignments, there are no tuition refunds for any reason.
Photo Release
I agree to allow Natural Abundance to do the following:
1. Take photographs of the training practicum and/or Zoom check-ins which may include me, as well as allow Natural Abundance and its instructors to use these photographs for promotional purposes online and in print.
2. Use quotes from my program evaluations (which I may fill out anonymously) for promotional purposes online and in print.

If you are registering for a CAPPA Training
CAPPA Training Policies
I agree to the following CAPPA policies:
1. I understand that I may not record the workshop (audio or video).
2. I understand that I may not photograph or screenshot any PowerPoint slides, workshop materials, certificates of completion, or any other intellectual property belonging to CAPPA or CAPPA Faculty.
3. I may not reproduce, publish, or distribute any materials in the workshop manual.
4. I may not reproduce, publish, or distribute any certification materials, other than for the purpose of fulfilling my certification requirements (i.e. copying the evaluation forms for my clients to fill out)
5. I may not reproduce, publish, photograph, share, email, or distribute any materials in the workshop handouts or manual other than for the purpose of using them for my personal business as a Childbirth Educator or Labor Doula.
6. I may take photographs of CAPPA Faculty and the participants ONLY with the express permission of CAPPA Faculty and the participants. I may not use these photographs for any purpose other than personal use. They may not be used for any advertising purpose, nor sold or transferred to any other party without the express permission of the parties in the photograph. CAPPA encourages you to share pictures of your workshop, keeping in mind that if another participant is in the picture, they must give permission AND no CAPPA Proprietary information can be shared.
7. Babies/children are not permitted at the workshop during teaching time. Nursing babies are welcome during lunch. Off-site childcare arrangements are the sole responsibility of the student.
8. CAPPA does not assume liability for adverse reactions to foods consumed, or items one may come into contact with while eating at any CAPPA Event, Training or Activity you may attend whether inside or outside of CAPPA planned events and activities.
9. I understand that this workshop is only one step in becoming a CAPPA Certified Childbirth Educator or CAPPA Labor Doula. There are several other steps that I must complete (at an additional investment) after the workshop in order to be eligible for certification by CAPPA.
10. A certificate of workshop completion will be given only if I attend and fully participate in the entire workshop and the workshop fees are paid in full.
11. I understand that there will be mandatory homework assignments (such as a pre-workshop study guide) that I will need to complete prior to the workshop.
12. I understand that I must enroll in CAPPA Academy to complete my certification requirements, receive instruction on completing certification, download forms, and take my certification exams. Enrollment in CAPPA Academy requires an additional investment.
13. I understand that should I choose to complete the certification process, I must be a CAPPA member. The first year of membership is included with training. Future membership can be purchased at www.cappa.net.
14. I understand that using CAPPA copyrighted titles, such as: CCCE, CAPPA Certified Childbirth Educator, CLD, CAPPA Labor Doula (or any variation thereof) prior to officially earning my certification from CAPPA will result in being disqualified from being certified.
15. I understand that I will receive an email confirmation within moments of submitting this registration. If I do not receive that confirmation, I will contact Laura Speece at laura@naturalabundance.me to ensure that registration was received.
16. I understand that I am not registered for this workshop until I have completed this registration AND the full payment of the workshop fee has been received by Laura Speece.
17. I understand that I must be at least 18 years old to take a CAPPA Workshop.
Cancellation Policy
I agree to the following cancellation/refund conditions:
1. If the workshop is cancelled by Laura Speece, attendees have the option of receiving a full refund or transferring to another workshop with Laura Speece within 12 months of the original workshop date.
2. Deposits or partial payments are not refundable for any reason.
3. If the attendee cancels, a refund will not be given. If attendee cancels at least 30 days prior to the workshop start date, attendee has the option of transferring to another workshop held by Laura Speece within 12 months of the original workshop date (only with written approval from Laura Speece). Cancellations less than 30 days prior to the workshop start date will not be eligible for transfer or refund. Only one registration transfer is allowed, and a $50 transfer fee will be charged. If the attendee fails to transfer to another workshop within 12 months or fails to pay the $50 transfer fee, all fees are forfeited. No-shows are not eligible for registration transfers.
4. Non-refundable travel reservations should not be made until Laura Speece has confirmed the workshop (usually at least three weeks prior to the workshop start date).
5. In the event of hazardous weather or any other travel issues making it impossible for Laura Speece to hold the workshop, a makeup option will be made available. Laura Speece is not responsible for any travel expenses attendee may incur.
6. Changes to a planned in-person training: If changing Covid19 restrictions prevent us from meeting in person, or if the minimum number of students required for an in-person meeting is not met, the workshop times and dates will remain the same, and the entire workshop will be held virtually. Students will have the option of attending the virtual class, or transferring to another workshop held by Laura Speece within 12 months of the original workshop date. Since the workshop will still be held in its entirety on the same dates and times, no refunds will be given.

1. Publish my name, phone number, and email address for the student list and referral list.
2. Take photographs of the workshop which may include me, as well as allow CAPPA Faculty and CAPPA to use these photographs for promotional purposes online and in print.
